God’s Calling You Sis, Will You Answer?

God’s Calling You Sis!! I implore you to answer!

When I first heard God calling my name, I was like I am right here! But I had no idea what He was calling for. He was getting my attention. So I spent over a year, still in training and preparation for what God has planned for me to do. He highlighted the gifts He placed in me as a piece of the puzzle. My teaching, writing, community community-building gifts and talents. So I felt confident in my skills but God was like, I need you to be confident in me because you are thinking too small. As I trusted more and more in God and Him leading my life, I could tell there was something huge in store and that is when anxiety, unworthiness, doubt, and fear crept in. I wanted to shrink back and say, “Forget it” but God wouldn’t let me. He gave me time and comfort through His word!

I have been reading through the Bible in 52 weeks and God’s encouragement and promises are so comforting. The Word of God is living and when you get in it like really get into it, it will feed you with the best foods ever! I talk more about this in our latest publication called, God’s Calling You which is available now on Amazon. When you study, God illuminates and speaks to you! I know that in 5 years when I read the same passage it will speak to me differently.

Here is a sneak peek into the publication, and you can submit to it as well. Grab it here.

Avoiding God’s Calling Costs You

Have you been hearing God and don’t know it? Or maybe even avoiding it? God has a calling on your life that is connected to so many people’s lives and I want you to fulfill all the potential God has given you. If we read Isaiah 48:17-19, we will see God lamenting over the unfulfilled potential of the Israelites, he says,

Isaiah 48:17-19New International Version

17 This is what the Lord says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.
18 If only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your well-being like the waves of the sea.
19 Your descendants would have been like the sand,
    your children like its numberless grains;
their name would never be blotted out
    nor destroyed from before me.”

Highlights are mine for emphasis. Disobedience has a cost! It costs us our peace and our well-being it also affects the generations to come. But most importantly it affects our relationship with our Heavenly Father. However, no matter what He will always love us and take care of us, we just cause friction, and that breaks His heart.

You may be thinking why you? Or you are scared or don’t feel equipped. That should be the least of your worries, in fact, don’t worry about that at all. God will provide you with everything you need and will carry you through! You just have to trust and obey! Believe and have faith in God!

Sis, I am encouraging you to answer God’s calling on your life and let God lead the way!

Love you sis!
