In a world that often glorifies perfection and flawlessness, it’s easy to feel inadequate when we ourselves are broken. We may feel like discarded crayons, no longer useful because of our imperfections. However, as Christians, we find hope in the truth that broken crayons still color. Through God’s love and grace, our brokenness can be transformed into something beautiful and meaningful.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Broken Crayons Still Color

My prayer for you

Heavenly Father, Thank you for your unfailing love and grace that extends to us, even in our brokenness. Help us to embrace our imperfections and trust in your redemptive power. May we surrender our broken crayons into your hands, knowing that you can still color a beautiful picture with our lives. Use us, Lord, as vessels of your love and instruments of your peace.
